Spaloon is the brainchild of a group of Kuwaiti
entrepreneurs who had lived and studied abroad,
and upon their return to Kuwait, saw a gap in the
local male grooming services.
With the idea to be an urban pampering hub for the
modern man, Spaloon opened its first location in
2007 in Salmiya area.
The unique model of Spaloon provides the traditional
spa treatments and services in a day spa
environment with the added benefit of male
grooming services, to address the needs of local
metro-sexual clients, including hair styling &
treatments, hands & feet treatments (i.e. manicures
and pedicures), waxing, tanning, etc…
Today Spaloon has 2 operational outlets in Kuwait (in
Kuwait City and Bidie area), and we are looking to open one more strategic sites on 2023.
Our aspirations are big and therefore we plan to also
take Spaloon to other GCC promising cities like Riyadh, KSA and Doha, Qatar, which we hope to
start by 2022.

Our Philosophy
Spaloon is a one-stop grooming and spa experience
exclusively created for men, combining barbering, skin care,
body care, and spa treatments.
We have professionals who come from different backgrounds
and have teamed up with us to create a lavish day boutique
spa and salon experience called “SPALOON”. This unique
concept is located today in Kuwait City as well as in Bidie
area, both representing busy commercial locations that lay
on the coast of Kuwait.
The concept core operation is conducted in an
unprecedented approach that is becoming an increasingly
popular trend spotted these days in cosmopolitan cities such
as New York, Paris, and London.
The unique model of Spaloon provides the traditional spa
treatments and services in a day spa environment with the
added benefit of male grooming services, to address the
needs of local metro-sexual clients, including hair styling,
manicures and pedicures, waxing, etc…
Our typical branches have an average area of about 250 M2
in size and is typically divided into vast main area:
Reception/Retail Gallery/Waiting Lounge/Hair Styling
Area/Hands & Feet Stations/Spa Treatments Rooms,
Hammam, and Tanning section.

Our approach is very different, as it starts with an expert
advice or a consultation (depending on the client's
needs) where a professional hair stylist or a spa therapist
can provide satisfying solutions to a various range of
needs, whether for hair, skin or body.
Similarly, every product we use in our stores has been
given the seal of approval by a professional. They aren’t
the commercial type of shampoos, conditioners and
styling products found in the supermarkets. They are
instead the therapeutic and exclusive ones developed
specially for professional salon use and retail.
That belief doesn’t stop when you leave our stores,
either. We’d love for you to take our salon/spa
experience with you, through the use and indulgence of
our products wherever you go!
All it takes is to speak with a professional to find the right
product for you. For example, some of our styling
products are formulated with peppermint oils and
menthol to tone your hair and cool your scalp for a
relaxing experience.
